This privacy policy describes how your personal data is collected and processed when you use the website ceramic-uhrweiller.com, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

2. What data is collected?
- Orders and deliveries: first and last name, billing and delivery addresses, e-mail address, phone number (if provided), order contents and history.
- Customer account: e-mail address and password (stored in encrypted form), profile information.
- Payment: card details are entered and processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe). They never pass through our servers and we have no access to them.
- Newsletter: e-mail address, if you subscribe voluntarily.
- Technical data: IP address, connection logs, browser and device type — required for the operation and security of the website.
- Analytics: traffic data via Google Analytics, only if you have accepted analytics cookies.
3. Why, and on what legal basis?
- Processing and delivering your orders, managing your customer account: performance of the contract.
- Issuing and retaining invoices: legal obligation (accounting retention).
- Ensuring website security and preventing fraud: legitimate interest.
- Sending the newsletter, measuring site traffic: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Who receives your data?
Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for their own purposes. It may be shared, strictly as necessary, with the following providers:
- Hostinger International Ltd — website hosting (European Union — Cyprus).
- La Poste — delivery of your orders (name, address, contact details).
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — payment processing (European Union — Ireland).
- Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC — analytics (Google Analytics), only with your consent; data may be processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework).
5. How long is data kept?
- Order data and invoices: 10 years (accounting obligations).
- Customer account: until deletion, upon simple request.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Cookies and trackers: up to 13 months.
- Technical logs: 12 months.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to catherine@ceramic-uhrweiller.com — we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, CNIL: www.cnil.fr.
7. Cookies and trackers
While browsing, two categories of cookies may be used:
- Strictly necessary cookies: cart, login session, language preferences. They are essential for the website to work and are exempt from consent.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): they help us understand how the site is used (pages visited, traffic sources). They are only set after you agree through the cookie banner.
